A Sentimental Tradition - Making Memories in Cape May, NJ
I am a sentimental mama, so I get all the feels when it comes to sharing a special place or thing with my daughter.
I spent this past weekend in nostalgia. Growing up, my parents would take me and my sisters to Cape May, New Jersey, for vacation. We'd pack up the car and make the quick four-hour drive to the beach—it felt like an eight-hour drive as a kid...
In June 2024, I shared this special place with my daughter. We spent time on the beach, walked the Washington Mall, went to Uncle Bill's Pancake House, and I showed her the Pink House. When I was young, the Pink House was so magical. I hope she can feel this place's magic and create her own special memories as we continue to visit each year.
What’s something you’ve been able to share with your little one that reminds you of your childhood?
